Meet Steve

I am what some call a snake enthusiast and not a professional herpetologist.  Since I was small, I have been completely fascinated with snakes.  I am still amazed, as I was then, that an animal with no arms, legs, ears, or ability to control its own body temperature can simultaneously be as graceful, powerful, quick and agile as anything on the planet.  Snakes are one of the most successful species in the history of this planet -- They were here before us and will be here after us.  I'm happy to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for these amazing animals.
